چکیده
This work reports on the structural modification of cellulosic materials with magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles through co-precipitation method. Cellulose is one most abundant natural polymers chemical variability brought about by presence several hydroxyl groups, allowing its surface modifications insertion groups to impact characteristics. Thus, objective this study was synthesize (MNPs) co-precipitation, followed in situ incorporation MNPs onto chemically purified cellulose (CPC) and nanocrystals (CNC). The composites were characterized for thermal properties using TGA, molecular structure FTIR, morphology SEM, elemental composition electron dispersion spectroscopy (EDS), crystallinity XRD. prepared presented improved crystal, thermal, properties. CNC-MNPs CPC-MNPs bore particle sizes 26.94 37.72 nm, respectively, whereas MNPs’ size 10.3 nm. EDS analysis indicated that Fe, C, Cl main elements present composites. Surface excellent sorption can be used industrial processes, such as wastewater purification, air filtration, various environmental remediation processes.

Preparation, characterization and Photo-inactivation of cellulose nanocrystals impregnated with meso-tetrakis(4-nitrophenyl)porphyrin
In this study, cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) was prepared and meso-tetrakis(4-nitrophenyl)porphyrin (TNPP) was immobilized on it. The product was identified by techniques of UV-Vis, fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), diffuse reflectance UV-Vis spectroscopy (DRS), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The effect of an amount of a loaded porphyrin comp...

Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) are gaining interest as a "green" nanomaterial with superior mechanical and chemical properties for high-performance nanocomposite materials; however, there is a lack of accurate material property characterization of individual CNCs. Here, a detailed study of the topography, elastic and adhesive properties of individual wood-derived CNCs is performed using atomic f...
متن کاملRelease Activated Iron Oxide Nanoparticles (REACTION) of Cellulose: A Magnetic Relaxation Switch for Environmentally sensitive MRI
INTRODUCTION: While magnetic relaxation switches (MRSws) have been developed using iron oxide nanocrystal cores that cluster together in the presence of an extracellular stimulus [Bogdanov, et al, Mol Imaging (1) 2002], the potential of using such systems to monitor intracellular events in vivo via MRI has not been investigated to date. Granot et al [Granot et al, ISMRM, 2009] first demonstrate...
